DX2AAA is the station CALL SIGN of the club repeater of the ASSOCIATION OF ACTIVE AMATEURS, INC. DX2AAA-R club repeater is diligently and effectlvely serving the eleven (11) provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pampanga, and Bulacan and bridges hams from these areas to the old capital Manila, Philippine islands and to the WORLD via echolink!
THIS CLUB IS A NON-STOCK NON-PROFIT CORPORATION ESTABLISHED IN NORTH PHILIPPINES. THE HUMBLE ACTIVE HAMS' NET (DU) IS DEVELOPING A SIGNIFICANT COMMUNICATION ROUTE WITH A CONSERVATIVE REACH ENDOWED WITH THE GREATEST NUMBER OF SYSOPS situated in the NORTH and CENTRAL LUZON, INCLUDING MANILA, OPERATING ON SYSTEMS USING THE VOICE-OVER-INTERNET PROTOCOL (VoIP) TECHNOLOGY THROUGH THE ECHOLINK SOFTWARE AS SPECIAL FIELD. The club is duly registered with the Philippine National Telecommunications Commission under MODIFIED radio station license number 421372 (issued March 2009) and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
It is affiliated with the PHILIPPINE AMATEUR RADIO ASSOCIATION, INC. The club maintains DX2AAA-R (repeater) that is atop 7,500 FT MT.STO THOMAS, BENGUET PROVINCE IN DU DISTRICT 2 with coordinates 16° 20.112N 120° 33.661E that is shown in the backdrop of the website overlooking the Lingayen gulf.
